Shahid Kapoor listens to ten scripts a month, said – it is very difficult to find a good story

Shahid Kapoor has been seen doing serious films for the last 4 years. For his OTT debut also, Shahid chose a crime thriller web series like 'Farzi'. After a long wait, this chocolate boy of Bollywood is going to be seen doing a romantic comedy film. Shahid Kapoor is going to show his magic with Kriti Sanon in 'Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya'. At the trailer launch of this film in Mumbai, Shahid said that after playing many challenging characters, he realized that he was missing light-hearted rom-com films.

Shahid Kapoor said, “I also want to do something light and fun. I miss doing such films. But to be honest, this is the most difficult genre. I listen to ten scripts a month. People tell me to do more pictures, but the most difficult thing is to find a script. You have to choose such a script so that you can show something different to the audience. And in this case, finding a good love story is a very difficult task. For me 'What new can you do in a love story?' The answer to this question is important. 'Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' gave me that answer and I immediately said yes to doing this film.

Shahid wants to tell new stories

Giving the example of his film 'Kabir Singh', Shahid said that when I did Kabir Singh, that character was new to me. That journey, the relationship shown in it was completely different. After that movie, I didn't hear anything that I found exciting. Then I was offered 'Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' and I did that.
